My ex was expecting me to buy a wedding ring while I was still at uni. Glad that relationship ended when it did.

yeah but work is better than boredom and it gets you the money. not too bad i guess.

It was completely implied O.o I mean, what else could you have meant when you said "typical chick nonsense" and that we get ideas in our heads about what relationships should be like from media? I think the problem is, maybe guys dont expect enough.

Batman TAS was awesome, really good cartoon to watch as a kid

I don't think I particularly wanted to marry her, just that I wasn't completely against the idea. Wayyyyyy too young for that though. Didn't help that she's a few year older than me and was starting to get into full-on broody woman mode. We would have had hot kids though :/

Pretty much what I said. My g/f doesnt understand why I love guns... so that would be "typical male nonsense" it wasnt meant as an insult.. its just something a chick is gonna care about more than a dude.
