Well, trying to incorporate smudging now... but idk i felt extremely lacking when i was doing this. Like something felt missing throughout the entire piece.

Oh i didn't see this post. Yeah i knew this before starting smudge, but the base is also the toughest to smudge correctly. Hopefully it just comes naturally with practice.

It's fine, they're early smudge stages, but my compo can always use work. Decided to just do a larger piece.



Tried to keep it simple seeing as i seem to suck at basics.

Your light source is too white, while the rest of your sig is green and yellow.

Besides that I like it more than the others

About time something clicked tbh. That was the only one where i was like, wow i actually know what i wanna do next. It took multiple basics tutorials, but eventually i started realizing things. Hopefully it just gets better from here.
