ok ive got a srs question:

ive made a scetch, but the problem is that i scetched with the color black on a white background.

Is there anyway to take away all the white on the layer to make it a lot easier to shade it?

in gimp it's color to alpha but not sure about photoshop, should have imo. send me the image and I'll do it in gimp if you cba to find it or don't own gimp
