See around here the top one would be called a slip on and the bottom a sandal. Not many people use flip flop

yea but i mean that's what was meant, top ones as sandals and bottom as flipflops.

most of people call bottom ones sandals, so do i.

there are different ones around. i personally like sandals if i can find fitting ones + they are quite open so i don't remember getting my foot sweat. maybe only if it's really hot but then again, flips would make the same shit

nope, even in intense mediterranean heat my foot didn't sweat, its like walking on foam with a small piece of fabric between your fingers.
