on the graphics for websites, is it different than regular pictures?

no not really, just upload a image to your ftp and use it in the code.

remember to have the same pixel size thou.

In what way? A picture's a picture, it just depends on what tag you use to bring the picture in.

To make an image act as a link, just nest the img tag inside an anchor tag.
