I guess you used this brush.



You should check the spacing setting, 'couse with this brush its set to 25% by default and it can mess up the curves. And uf you feel that its still blurry use the sharpen tool.

I usually do stuff in bw and add colors later, its easier for me to work with light/shadow this way.

really like the soft shading on her face m8, but she does kinda seem like a clown at this stage (really bright face)

Yeah the face might be a lil bright, but thats only 'couse the dark neck and hair imo, but ill adjust the colors :)
