We got alps on the north which prevent cold winds to blow down from north, and rich mediterranean earth, with tons of minerals and that shit.
Slovenia ranks pretty high with ice wines, but it also has some area specific wines which are not produced anywhere else on the world.

Some of the known ones are: various versions of Pinot, Merlot, Laški Rizling, Teran, Pullus, Cabernet Sauvignon and Cviček (Cvichek, fuckyeah).

Ah, not a big fan of ice wines, I tend to like very strong reds.
