Pretty much only used reference for basic shape and shadow shape.
Next time I will not use a reference, this took me twice aslong as spheres. (16mins)
I thought about blending the colors better but then I thought it wouldnt look right because bananas have the line thingys.

Spent more time on it, not to much difference.

always use a reference, not using one at your level is just dumb

and next time paint what you see, not what you think you see, if you look at the real banana, it is more yellow in the middle and more green near the ends, yet you took a color that is partly green and partly yellow and painted the whole banana at the same hue

Yeah drawing what you see is majorly important, Colours cannot be exaggerated.

there is only 2 plains on this banana, but yet you drew 3, see how there is only 1 corner?

It's great that you're not colour picking! Just try spend a few more minutes before hand to get a pallette down, the colours are way off man

You have to learn to paint what you see instead of what you think you see.

I just noticed the black mark near the left end of the banana, I accidently marker there. I didn't notice it until now.
I think I did alot better :D well maybe not a whole lot better, but better.

dont color pick
dont put reference under your painting



your not helping yourself at all by doing that
