I was recently invited to a group on facebook, Virtual Plein Air Painting. The concept is that you use google street view to find a location, or mapcrunch to find a random one, and you paint it.

https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=virtual%20plein%20air

I noticed on the sticky top post that the idea came from Timothy Rodriguez, and if any of you are familiar with that name you will remember him as Blizzard on d2jsp...

He has quite a few followers and its good to see him still in the field. He was a huge inspiration for myself.

You can follow him on facebook: https://www.facebook.com/rodrigueztimo?hc_ref=SEARCH&fref=nf

Along with his own site: http://www.timorodriguez.com/

Just thought it was a very small world to stumble on that group, and to see that Timo has been such a huge inspiration across the world, and to think he had small roots here at d2jsp.

This is great!! I remember someone giving him shit for using custom brushes. xD I'm also happy to see him break through and make it as concept artist, if he ever reads this, kudos. :)

You can eat THESE berries. If you didn't know, I'm pointing down at my crotch ;)

I have a fresh bag of strawberries I bought from the farmer's market sitting on my lap, you can have some
