i dont listen to the recommended radios but i often explore by going to the related artists page of an artist i like. its great for music stats and the community is alright. i had to subscribe for the radio though which sucked, cause it's only free in the us, uk & germany and im french.
i'd use pandora but you can't listen to it outside the us :(

yeh, i've lurked around their related artists page a few times and i stumbled onto a few bands that i really liked, it's helpful because i've been digging around for music that i've never really listened to before, i guess 'broadening my horizons' and last.fm is pretty dope for that.
shits sucks that you have to pay cuz french.
my favorite bands are french! alcest / amesoeurs :wub:

it's a loosely defined term, basically it means people who listen to music because its cool and obscure and not because they like it. this way if you don't like someone or his music you can say its hipster. the mentality is 'everyone's a hipster but me'. it's bs.
