Here is one suitable for an avatar, any larger and it violates KB limits unless drastically reducing the quality.

Don't forget to save it in case you need to re-upload later on.

Signatures must be 400px wide or less, and 150 pixels tall or less. They also cannot exceed 70kb
Avatars must be 50kb or less (their pixels automatically scale to 64x64

As far as using that image to resize it for a signature - I tried a few variants, but was not good enough quality afterwards. Maybe someone more experienced working with animations can help you out.
