hmm, not something i ever thought about

pros:
possibility of selling more sigs

cons:
it gives requesters a bad impression that people can sneak in and grab sigs for cheaper, lowering the value of making a request
gives the idea that we are also a premade market
if the requester doesn't have the cash to buy an extra at the time but wants to come back later

i dont know, it does seem unfortunate to have x amount of sigs that arent sellable but i also think it is important the buyer doesnt feel cheater
i'm open to ideas on this subject

e/ technically speaking it is just selling a premade at that point, but the problem is we are a service and not individual sellers

imo the designer has free will to sell their " losing " sig to whomever they please.

I do the same thing with my request thread ( or did )

if someone declined after the sig had been made, i got my % and then the sig went in a premade gallery for half the price or so.

Mine will just build up in a premade section in my gallery

if we want excess to just turn into individual premades thats up to you, but some problems arise

if it is your premade now, you can sell it on your own for any amount of fg and keep it, why wouldnt the buyer just buy 1 sig then wait to buy the extra for a cheaper price / only one designer gets fg
your sigs made as part of the service (in which fg is split) is now yours and not applicable to splitting between all members of the service

e/ its hard to say that no one is allowed to resell excess sigs since it limits the fg earning and is technically theirs i guess

I don't agree with this because like trm said people will just scout out and wait to buy a tag for cheaper.
Only way around this is charging them the full price which idk why they'd do that but ya.

That's my view on it.
We're going to lose more customers rather than gaining I think because of assholes just scouting to save fg.

maybe a 30 day grace period after which you can sell as premade on your own? might just be more work than necessary though

Problem with that is that they're all going to be the same exact stock which would sort of cheapen the whole "Please do not point to a signature and say you just want a copy of that, we are looking to create new signatures for you.".

part of the problem is this isnt a normal signature service, so where as one man services it is pretty simple to treat it as requesters coming to you instead of you to them

id like a solution where the sig designer who wins feels like they won,
everyone who took part gets some enjoyment out of participating and some steady fg,
and requesters feeling like they are getting the best offer for their fg
