depending on your font 99% of what you choose with that font size is way too small for print.
Okay this can be an easy fix.

also printing white ink is expensive
Price isn't a matter for me.

If you're printing black and the white is knockout that's a waste of ink and your knockout is way too small you're going to run into bleeding ink problems
I haven't talked to the printers in person yet, but from what they've told me is that they have different colors of card stock apparently.

also that does not look for the proportions of business card
its 2" x 3.5"
This is just a mock up for the designer of how I would like the final product to resemble. As you pointed out there are far more problems than just size.
The reasoning for the mock up is because I don't know how they do their foil and what formats they need the file in for printing.

also the logo looks weird why are there beveled corners while theres sharp corners that exist
That was my bad, I don't know how the bevel got introduced since I did not use any of those kind of blending options, the logo will not have any emboss/bevel.

Theres also problems with type hierarchy why are you hiding the contact info
Theres no need for a margin line if your type is creating that line for you
Logo is supposed to pop that silver does not work on that choice of paper
Also be wary of foil errors during print so ask for samples before you do bulk
I used moo for my business cards they have this triple layer card where you can get certain colors in the middle layer
they call it luxe
Thanks for this info here. I will try to revamp the design and check out moo.
I think overall I will need to just go into the local print shop and be like "hey I want this logo on this card in these colors and make it look like this".
What kind of foil errors are there and what do they look like generally? Are they easy to spot like just bad shaping or other problems?
Thanks again for the advice.
