Graphic Design General Chat - Topic

im not in the mood to start a topic just for this so imma ask here
im trying to do a cover photo for a humour page i'm trying to create (just a shit page for dumping whatever images i find funny)
anyways i'm finding it really hard to find a font i like to use.
it'll prob be a basic writing like a caption on a img, nothing too fancy, but that doesn't just look like i actually just captioned a shitty cover photo and used as it.
idk if i was clear what i'd like but i'd love some suggestions
ps: font must be free
