Probaly stupid question but how can i change those stuff?

Well, hopefully you know how to change background
- The open Windows (and taskbar, expect I"m using Litestep, not explorer) are customized using Visual Styles (Or 3rd party programs like WindowsBlinds, but I don't like using them since they eat ram)
-Instant Messenger Client there is Miranda IM: Tons of features, can customize the hell out of it.
-CAD or CD Art Display: Displays the current track
-Icons are resource hacked - You don't have to reshack them though, there are programs that can do it as well. (IconPackager is one)
A lot of people uses dock programs - RocketDock and ObjectDock are nice.
