20$ is a good price for most events.
but the cool thing about the big event isnt just the music, its the whole thing that u are doing things about music and relaxing the whole weekend.
where else, u pay 20 $ for every thing u want to see, and its done in 2 hours.

2x cool act next month in the netherlands which im prolly gonna see:
Marcus Miller Stanley Clarc and Victor Wooten. (3x rediculous bassguitar players.)
+ Walter trout (nice blues dude)

hehe i dno tbh 20 dollar is cheap for a show i dno i payed 140 euro for the ticket( about 200ish dollar) and spended about 300 euro on the festival itself (about 400-450dollar)

and yes punisher is right its not jsut bout the music its just awesome to be in a musical walhalla with about 60-70 thousand of other ppl from everywere
its gr8 to be wasted for about 3-4 days
u always meet gr8 ppl,from where ever
when the last day is there ur like fuck its the last day alrdy i jsut go to festivals instead of holidays.
(btw it was my 5th time lowlands also done pukkelpop (and a few 8-14hour long parties)
concerts have been longh ago i think the last thing i did as a concert was the pixies about 4years ago.
how come u can get to see good artists for free in the usa? unfair here the free festival lineups are horrible on a average level

edi: i expected mroe of sigur rós but on the other hand it aint a real festival band but it as really relaxing to be there so it was cool to me, there was this mellow vibe i liked it,i missed the end due the roots,and straight after that point i only saw dance,electro,house,till 5 then the festival terrain closed and i moved to the 24th hour tent wich closed at 8 in the morning

i know most UC schools (University of California) have a free spring concert at the end of the school year with a decent line up. You don't even have to be a student to go. I went to the USC one cause I had a friend that told me about it that went there. I attend UCSB so that one was easy access >=]. I i like electronica more than techno:)... daft punk, justice, boys noize, mstrkrft, ladytron... etc... but i would love to see the pixies in concert... also muse / arctic monkeys. i hear their shows are sick.

if u like elctronica liek boys nozie etc ur simply talking about the european techno, u should try to get to see

i've never heard of them but im listening to them right now and im pretty sure im gonna try to find their albums... you got to see justice!? sooo lucky... seems like so much fun seeing them... i want to see all those parisian artists... everyone from ed banger and kitsune and such... i would LOVE to see klaxons or digitalism
