This is whats wrong with american teens
I came to conclusions like this when i was 16, only part i disagree is: technology having a soul-not at this stage, greater plan, and human race recreating universe (lol). Technology is just a tool, and some people refuse to use it. Would that mean they are resisting symbiotic relationship with technology? I had a professor that didn't own a radio, TV, had heating on wood, and used candles as light source. It just doesn't make sense. In the past we managed to live perfectly fine without any sort of electronic devices. Would it mean because we carved a wheel from a rock that it got soul? I don't think so.
That guy really thinks we would be even capable of creating big bang? IF we could, we would be stopped, i am sure of that. It wouldn't be just our lives we would be toying with. And its arrogant to think that in such great, supposedly endless universe we are the only creatures capable of logical thinking, evolving and communicating. Even author himself mentioned "aliens". Also i could never understand humans desire to be a part of a greater plan, mathematical or divine, its all bullshit to me. It is funny what fear makes with people. Get a grip, you are almost nothing, a zero, only your actions and decisions you make as individual will effect this world in a small small scale, there is nothing more to it. What should be looked into is power of the masses, and how easy it is to manipulate.
Why humans look down on animals ...it's from one simple reason: It's exactly the same when you see a disabled person and deep deep down inside you think you are better than him because you can do something that he can't. Animals are not capable of thinking on same level as human beings, and that's why they are looked down upon and not treated equal. However, we keep getting amazed by animals: they are capable of compassion, and all other feelings that also appear at humans. Animal can hate and love. It's simply a barrier that we created so we can still kill, and use them as our food source. In the end we are not so different from them. I am simply saying "human" and "animal" to keep things clear.
And i count our days before we doom ourselves.
Also i am not saying that the way i think is right, it's just how i see things.
