I have 2gb ram now, i tried first to play GW with the basic rams, was it 512, it was hilarious.
Now it is good enough to play d2 and photoshop and such.

That could be why mine runs smooth because i have roughly 5g of ram in it.....

I don't care about games, I have a bitching computer 20 feet away I could run games on. I just want to be able to open up Microsoft Word in less than 2 fucking minutes to take notes.

Downgrade to XP?

Is there an easy way to do that... Or do I have to like buy the XP disk?

Theres always the illegal way . But im pretty sure Windows are handing out free downgrades.

Don't go the illegal way, My buddy and I both messed up our original comps trying to hack XP. I highly recommend just spending the hundred bucks and buying a legit version.

How did it mess up? Im sure all it would do is make it so you have to reformat .

Thank ya. No we tried reformatting and we kept getting an error messsage so we took it to a computer shop and they told us that it left fragments of the old operating system on our hard drive and that was stopping us from being able to install a new one

Haha, nice. Plenty of people have done it though, so maybe you just didnt do it right? But yea, i do reccoment just buying a compy of XP. Its always handy to have.
