Wow got accepted into uni to study psychology. Was my third year applying and there was over 1000 applicants, maybe ~600 at the exam and 40 were selected. I got the results about an hour ago and still can't quite comprehend it.

Need a desktop. No idea where to start when it comes to building one. Even worth looking at prebuilt?

Ignore Alienware for obvious reasons. Pre-built can be okay, but you will pay more compared to building it yourself obviously. Other than that it really depends on budget. I have an I-5 3570k cpu, 8gb ram, and a gtx 670 and I feel it's more than fine for anything I do. More ram wouldn't be a bad thing though, some large canvases lag. I like cyberpowers laptops. They might be worth looking into.
