I have a friend I swam with for 4 years of high school and he ended up going to the Olympic Trials this year. He's hoping to make it to London 2012 as well.

Anyone know how to make Vista NOT suck? I've got a laptop that I'm using for school that has Vista and it's slower than Roy.

I know some people use Vista, so what do you do to make it quick?

You can run it in classic mode or just get a decent comp. Mine runs just fine

I'm running it in classic mode at the moment, but it's still slow as fuck. It's a dell inspiron e1505 laptop. It was my dad's for work, but he doesn't need it so I'm using it for school.

O well it is quite fucker that vista, having problems with desktop too.

1st, yah need to learn how to diable many many meny meny unusefull fonction which slow alot, there is probably some list of which and how to do so
2nd, have atlest 3go of ram
3rd, get 64bit and not 32bit vista

Honestly i don't close out of anything whenever i start it and my comp runs fine. I always hear people bitching about vista and i just don't understand it. Are they all trying to run it off of 2 gig of ram or what?

I dunno how many times I have to say it's a fairly shitty laptop. I just figured there was some update for vista that took out all the worthless shit.

you know why it need atleast 2 go of ram, because running vista with all the ''add-ons'' take 1.5 go of rams just to run, so you have a 512mo computer to play game or anything after....



If so switch to xp vista has to many requirements to use a shitty laptop
