Spam would be saying useless things just for the heck of it which have no relevant to the subject. I don't see how saying you're leaving in a GRAPHIC general chat would not be considered spam. If you left then it would be sensible, because it would have been a goodbye since you are a graphic artist. But since the action was not carried out after saying it multiple times, it's spam.
