Id like to know if its possible to edit a gif avatar (in PhotoScape) if I dont have the psd for it (I only want to throw a gradient on it).

But you can import frames into Photoshop CS2 or newer. Or Imageready if you have older PS.

You need quicktime 7.1 or newer for it.

Oki I downloaded it, it says now that I can open QuickTime format files like .AVI/.MOV etc... but I cant open my gif tag
I tried to open the pic with quicktime but I cant find where I can save the image as .Mov or w/e

enter *.* in the seach field. hit enter and you can see all data.

I downloaded QuickTime 7.1. Opened the gif pig with photoshop and clicked file- import- video frames to layers... it opens my folder but I cant see any gif or png or jpg pictures there because it lets me to open only .MOV, .AVI and other format files.
Where can I convert my .gif pic to .avi?
