Thanks, I think this might be a direction my senior show could possibly be going in for spring.

Awesome! Wish I could afford traditional mediums. Painting is so expensive!

not too bad once you get most of the stuff and get started :S

i use water solvable oils, so i dont have to buy mineral spirits or thinner which saves me money and odors.

paints are about 6-7$ a tube, but they last a while if you know how to work them.

You dont need all the colors of the rainbow, because thats what mixings for :)

so about 42$ in paint to start, 10-15$ in brushes

a basic easel can run you 50-100, or you can jsut paint with a ghetto rig ofc

canvas you can stretch your own like me if you know how, or you can buy avg sizes for 5-15$ a pop

a palette, palette knife, paper towels and boom your ready to go

+ youll make your money back if you sell to friends/family ofc :P

I got my bamboo from newegg and I love it. It was only like $60. I love the texture of the new painting you started!

You should digital paint me something for a background on my tablet, like a apple or something. xD
1024x768 bruhh
Btw what size gauges you got, looks like 3/4 or 1. o.o

Inbox is full.
Any idea on what pencils I should use for sketching? I tend to accidently press to hard when I am sketching and then it leaves marks when I try to erase it.
I go through too much trial and error.

there called plugs, gauge = a measurement

b pencils are softer, and the higher the number the softer, and easier to erase... but also easier to smudge all over your work
