It wasn't an instant transition thats a fact.

I've been in school now for 2 years at the university studying art. Its tough but I'm hoping it will pay off. I have a great instructor who is from Moscow.

It takes a lot of work and dedication.... You have to retrain your brain to understand things differently and to see differently....

As far as digital to traditional painting, the basics and foundations are the same. Composition, Values / Contrast , Color variation. All these have to be constantly in your head...


Oil painting is just another medium... just as digital or watercolor or encaustics... But the basics never change!

Wow, I hope I get some where with Art in the 4 years I am in highschool, we mad box figurines, but I dont think i need to post that in a thread. XD
Well I am glad I am some experience, it may be incredibly small, but I got some. If I ever get into traditional art, i will most likely hit you up.
