Mm. My dad made sure that every computer in my house ran some form of Linux (either Fedora or Ubuntu). The only exception would be the mac that I use to photoshop.
Yeah I'm on linux the majority of the time because it just does what I need it to do for my day to day need better and faster than windows, except for games which is basically the only reason that I decided to partition my harddrive and allocate a tad of space to windows. I've always loved the intuitiveness of linux, to me at least it felt much more fluid and responsive, that's why I run kubuntu on my server. It's also much easier to access my server with telnet and ssh, mainly use PuTTY for that. Mac isn't that much different believe it or not, linux and the mac osx are both unix based operating systems. They may look different visually and a bit internally because of the class based system and some other structural differences in mac. But they are both essentially built on the same platform.
Edit: I'm not that big of a computer nerd as I may seem, it's just what I get for growing up with a brother that was/is one.
