Send it to someone, see whats wrong with it, and order that piece. Way cheaper than replacing the whole thing. I just spent 350 bucks on new hdd's instead of 1200 for a new pc.

True but the thing is I can't take it in now cause it's working fine so they will test it for hours and no errors will show, I can't really take it in till it does it again for a longer period of time.

Yours is a desktop pc though isn't it? , I have or never would open up a laptop but I was always told everything is like sawterd together so it's more expensive ripping them apart and replacing 1 thing vs throwing it out for a new one.

Yeah it was my desktop that got fucked up. I dont use my laptop for anything but school because i am afraid of viruses getting in there and me not being able to get to my homework or something.

If you take it too someone i'm sure it would be cheaper than buying a new one, but maybe not. Should check into it. ANd i am sure if you tell them what its doing they might have an idea of why its doing it.

Well brandon I already have an idea on what the problem is, only problem is it could be 1 out of 10 diff things, It can't be narrowed until it does it again .... Idk if you had connections with someone you could prolly fix a laptop for cheaper but I was always told by computer pro's if something serious like video card or something goes on a laptop to garbage it >_< , unless you really want to dump cash into the old girl



Yeah true mines only 3 years old but she has god knows how many hours on it probably = to like 6 years old on a normal computer lol but I was so shocked last night I almost QQ'd

i lost my beloved cs3 when i reformatted my PC coz of all this shit i had on it
(NOTE: do NOT install Windows Live Family Safety to try stop yourself watchin pron. its the most annoying fucking piece of software ever, and you genuinely can not remove the bastard, even if you set the password yourself.)

got cs4 v11, but seems more complicated with fewer uses (wth is all this 3D shiz and quick-access colour filters?)

imo cs3 is the shiz
but i may as well have cs4
and i try to DL as little as i can, im wary of police surges to cut down piracy :/
