Really don't use topaz or text at all. It's only hurting what you're doing at this point. You should also avoid making threads called "Signatures opinions" if you don't want opinions.

i only use it to make the hair look more clean sharpening it normaly only makes it look pixalated

Only use topaz at a very small amount like you did, sometimes even less opacity. Its a good tool, just in moderation.

Learn how to use smart sharpen then, as well as using a mask with a low opacity brush to reduce areas that are over sharpened. 10% works well, just keep brushing until it looks right. There are so many better ways to do it than just slapping on a topaz filter.

i do use smart sharpen but whats this high pass you speek of

new layer - apply image - filter / other / high pass - set layer to soft light - reduce opacity (around 50%)
