Sounds about right. I had a slight image in my head, but couldn't go about putting it on the canvas as is what happens with a lot of my sigs due to lack of skills or creativity.

Really need to work on your colours and background.

Not sure how i can work on that besides trial and error and just seeing other peoples' works tbh.

those lines random light effects and splatter brushes dont go well together, I would refrain from doing any work that are not from tutorials until you get better, because it seems to me liek your doing same effects same mistakes quite often.

Yeah i'm noticing this a lot too, it's mostly because i'm drained of any creativity/inspiration atm and i'm just forcing myself to put things together at certain points. But i'm gonna be following more tutorials since i'd prefer having direction lol.



I think it's my reliance on c4d's and stocks for effects, etc. Probably gonna do more stuff that doesn't rely on c4d's too much. When i open photoshop, the first thought to cross my mind would be looking through my resources instead of how i should compose, brush, etc.

placement, opacity, fill, layer property

practice using these. layermasks help as well practice taking advantage of them

also experiment with the filters that are available. wouldn't be photoshop without these.
