If you dont want to fork out money or use otherways to get Photoshop, Gimp is a nice alternative, very nice functionality honestly.

I’m pretty sure affinity designer works on Linux

There is photoshop that is more friendly user but monthly pay.
There is other software too but with gimp and or photoshop you can do alot of stuff :)
Also its lot of self learn..youtube and creativity :)
