K so what do I do if one section is coming out looking much better than the rest? should I just redo the lesser?

I think you are doing the same mistake i am making. I focus on certain areas too much, which ends up with too much detail in areas that are not supposed to be focused as much. Aka building your image with front, middle and back. ATM it feels like middle is in the focus too much, and trees have more detail as for example rocks, which are also in the same perspective area. My eye gets drawn to the middle right section, which isn't as detailed as -for example- trees, that are surrounding it. Hope this helps.

Mistakes are a good thing and they aren't always obvious to me.

Even if someones comment was "that leaf looks like shit" its still valid CnC. Now I know I need to fix the leaf, because it looks like shit.

So for everyone if you digi paint or not, please by all means, tell me what looks bad! I can make it look better, I promise!

working on redoing the left side right now. Not a big update, but I want you guys to see every step so I can be corrected before I invest to much time in something that looks bad.
