Photoshop is generally used for color-correcting photos. If you want to make money, then more often than not you're going to make traditional branding elements, such as a logo and stationery, which would be created with Illustrator and/or InDesign.
If you want to make money making YT-related designs, such as Twitter banners, YT banners, and thumbnails, then I recommend making time lapse videos and uploading to your own YT channel to display your portfolio. You could also update a behance portfolio or tumblr/wordpress/blog website.
If you want to get better at making logos with the potential to make money, then download Illustrator and start submitting to 99designs.
