Pikachu tag is alot better.
This is monotone with an ugly border and to much randomness going on.
Keep it simple!

The border was a miss - going to remove it.
Doesn't the tech-kind-of sig looks good )8?

I don't really know much on PS/Signatures, I did them along time ago but haven't really MADE one in a while.
but from a Clients perspective though the focal is blending with the background way to much in #2.
#1 although it has a similar color scheme you made it work.

Would definitely wear #1.

I actually like borders on sigs. I think its my slight OCD when it comes to stuff like that.

don't listen to them the 2nd sig definitely looks a lot better than the first.. its kind of boring but it looks like you improved on in other places. the first one just looks like a render slapped on some random background without anything done to make them fit together.

the first one looks bad because of lack of experience, the second one looks bad because it feels uninspired and boring.

if that makes sense.

get really comfortable with layer masks thats probably the most important skill to have.
