i was uneasy about trying to erase more around the rod without messing it up




shadows/lighting arent my strong suit
any suggestions ? something that stands out over all that can be altered and improved on?

For starters you can look how the light is striking the environment and then look how its striking the turtle or the penguin and hopefully you will see it.
Imo light and shadows are one of the key factors in manipulations to get the compo right.
