i didn't overlook it, i googled it and i'm still having problems. would rather speak to someone who knows what they're doing and can talk to me, instead of someone who says "just google it" you know?

this isn't remotely complicated and requires no tutorial or hand-holding. i googled 'seamless grass tile' and found this.. http://i.imgur.com/uzi22b8.jpg ..every single image is better than your image.

i randomly tested this image and it happens to be pretty darn seamless. http://i.imgur.com/2aKHCJo.jpg

i'm not using textures that someone else made. i'm making them from scratch. lol
i'm making hand painted textures in photoshop, i realize i could google a pre-made photo realistic texture and be done with it, but that's not what i want...
i want to hand paint one myself.

you used a soft, circular brush instead of the stock grass that comes with every photoshop. i don't think you're going to be able to make one with the aid of anyone, however, the obvious thing to do is make whatever texture you want in the middle, then have a separate layer for what you'd paint on the edge. i would use a guide/grid to allow for some bleed/overflow, then cut on the line/grid, then move the bleed/overflow to the opposite side of the square, so it matches.

made this in 10 seconds with two photoshop filters. uniform noise ensures that the pattern will be seamless, and it's extremely easy to replicate.

wouldn't that only be horrizontally seamless? do i have to do the same thing on the vertical boundaries as well?
