It usually comes naturally after a while.

I never worry about it but I always tend to end up following it

This is your best one so far.

Use high quality resources. You know the difference between Standard definition and High definition TV? It's the same thing.
Use pictures and images for you tag's that look nice, and are large. You don't want to scale up an image as it will lower the quality.

On the image I put in the quote you can tell where the girl was cut out of a different picture. This tells me I'm looking at something made poorly in photoshop.
You want the tag to be seamless.

You should do some readings on where to place the focal as well. You are putting them on the right side of the screen but the focal should be placed on the intersection at 2/3 or 1/3 of the way up (that might not make any sense)

I usually want the focal of a person to be their eyes. I like their eyes to then be 2/3 of the way up at either 1/3 or 2/3 across the screen. This should give you an idea.

Look at where the focal is. It is placed at intersecting points.

When you get those two things down (using hq resources, rule of thirds) you will be making significantly better tags.

This helped me out a ton. Thanks a lot. Although I do think her face is close to the 2/3 from the left, 2/3 from the bottom intersection.
Should I be working on a high resolution canvas at first and then scale it down to preserve the quality?
