you have ugly particles floating around doing nothing
you have a useless space on the right
your shadows are pushing down on your lights instead of activating them
ugly green brown on the middle section by the arm

Didn't really turn out as planned, I wish I had my tablet for some smoother lines :/

I really want to get away from c4ds but Idk where to start

start with pentooling? or smuding?

I've done a little smudging before and I don't really like it
I like pen tool style tags and maybe I'll look more into that
texture style tags have always been a favorite but I don't like any of the ones I make :/

To many colors makes it look kinda messy, and that blue in his face makes no sence,
Render is kinda small for the 400x150 imo.
But I know what you are going for, its a good try. but like the one you posted yesterday better cuz of the much better choise of colors.

use pentool with brush settings

I was lazily following his style a bit

That take so much more time a tablet can get the same lines, but yea, definitely would've looked better
