read some photo manipulation tutorials

voted: pretty bad

e: try to do something original

ty, but lmk what is bad?

you don't like the color? something is sloppy? the effects could be done better, the layout is bad, not a fan of the image?

not complex enough, too simple, orientation, composition/balance , not fond of large mug-shots?

what is personal preference and what is skill base critique

even a link to something similar that was done a lot better... i'm looking for helpful info here.

someone pointed me to fonts, and i had to agree my first choice could of been better, and i thank them for that

Nothing you've done requires much skill. Changing the colour and adding a few things is not difficult.

Start something else.

i know you are trying to help me, but telling me i have no skill isn't helpful.

other than it not being original or complex, has anything i've done at least looked decent?

how would you suggest making this image original?

i am a gfx noob, i posted to maybe learn a few things. i guess aside from looking at rando tutorials and copying other people, what would make this image i made better?

i see a lot of cd4's in people's sigs, and obv tut rips... i'm just casually making things for myself and sharing with you guys to maybe learn something for fun,

maybe this is the wrong forum to do this in.

any suggestions on forum communities that welcome new-comers or is generally more active in gfx design

ill be honest i know i'm not going to make anything outstanding without a tablet,

just trying to get some helpful pointers

I'd suggest starting something new.
Read tutorials.
A tablet isn't necessary.
Stop ignoring advice/saying the advice is wrong.
Plenty of people come through here who we tell to read tutorials, most leave an continue to be shit, but those that listen actually learn and develop their skills.

in the beginning its less about quality and more about quantity.

There are exceptions ofc, but you need to get more experience with whatever program you're using though tutorials and practice.

Right now, your asking chefs and food critics to give your advice on heating a cup of ramin noodles that you added tuna to. Theres just not much to say at this point.
