If I wasn't clear enough, I'm going to experiment with some plug-ins regardless of whether or not others prefer to use them. I'm looking for opinions on which ones are worth experimenting with, not your opinion on using plug-in's period. There's more uses to Photoshop than just making signatures. There's plug-in's for an array of different uses.

and we answered you. NONE. Whether you're editing photographs, making web banners, or making signatures. Plug-ins are almost always going to give worse results than manually doing stuff because you don't have as much control over it.

The only credible opinion I've had so far was from someone in the football section who actually recommended a plug-in as opposed to trying to sway my opinion on the use of them.

Why bother to ask us in the first place if you aren't willing to take anything from the answers?

Anything the plug-ins can do you can do without.
It may take you longer and it may be harder.
But your end result will always look better because you have more control over what you are doing.

Don't ask questions if you're just going to argue with people trying to help dude.

Disregarding the opinions of which advise me to not use plug-in's equates to me arguing? Nice logic. I want to LEARN OF DIFFERENT USER EXPERIENCES WITH DIFFERENT PLUG-INS and I've made that clear multiple times. How is people telling me not to use plug-ins helpful advice when I'm going to do so regardless? I made the thread looking for opinions in regards to different plug-ins, not opinions on whether or not I should use them. How can I make myself more clear without you guys think that I'm trying to be argumentative? I came to the graphics section because I figured I'd get the best opinions here but obviously I was mistaking.

TL;DR: I'm using plug-in's regardless. Offer a quick review of any plug-in's you have experience with and recommend. I don't care to hear about whether or not you think I should use plug-in's period because I'm going to anyways. So if you don't use plug-in's, don't bother posting and offering input that don't even pertain to the information I'm seeking.

Therefore you should not use them. How is this not what you are asking? You asked for our opinion and you got it.

You're pretty dense man. No point in trying to prove my point with someone who is unwilling to get it.
