you can try to find a vector image or brush, or find a stock design and cut it out yourself - cutting out one for yourself gives you more options, but may be harder for someone whose just learning.
there are tons of sites for free photoshop brushes.
a more advanced option would be to brush or pentool your own shape/design.
a heart would probably be an easy symbol brush to find.
