Yeah noticed that my lines for example are much better on the ipad because i see where i draw on, on the tablet i draw and have to look on my screen.
Getting some writing pad and a few pens tomorrow and try how it works ( yes we moved one year ago and never bought paper or pencils haha )

the stuff your doing isnt really digital painting... you could do this all in less time with the pen tool :S

are you sure you have your tablet installed with a driver? and don't use 100%

i dont see how its so solid if youre using a tablet. theres no line variations and it looks like you used 100% opacity brush with a mouse or a marquee with fill or a pentool

i think i'm watching tutorials for the next week, start 1 pic... get into every single part of it. ( how to draw realistic eyes ) how to draw bodies, how to draw noses and so on.
repeating that till i make something which is worth the webspace my pictures are currently wasting!



yeah i do what u say =/ ( drawing with tablet but opacity 100% ^^ ) eww looks like i should check my settings first before i even think about drawing.. never did it , the only thing i set up is the sketch pencil

Why do you press so hard? try using pen pressure for the opacity, mix and blend colors. Dont jump into portraits/eyes etc etc... you said you've never drawn.... start with the basics. draw some shapes etc etc, still lifes. learn perspective, learn about value.

Paper and pencils bro, look up some perspective tutorials and start with basic forms ( pyramid cube cone sphere box cylander etc)

Try makin em perfect too, no wiggly lines. Start with 1 point then do 2 point. Everything is built from basic forms

Start on something new, Take your time and focus. check and recheck your lines to make sure they are accurate.
