It's your USB driver then tablets don't die tht easily

I've had a Wacom cte430 for 5 years and use it as a coaster all the time and it still works fine I use it for smudging

Ive had this happen with external Hd's before where it didnt recognize the usb as sugu is saying

My pc is like 4 - 5 months old. all of my usb works for like iphone chargers, wireless adapters etc;

If you're plugging the USB devices in and out many times, without right clicking the little icon and ''push'' the device out there's a chance you will damage the USB

USB drivers or you're running to many USB's and things like mouse and keyboard and your power supply can't handle it. Especially if your computer has lights, e.g. my mouse and keyboard have neon glows and shit^ - I had to update most of the things under "Universal Serial Bus Controller" then everything decided it would work after it. Could just be something to do with your ports too.. if you've bent a USB port it might not be fitting in properly.


Commenting because this really annoyed me for nearly a month and I literally had to force myself to step outside into the world because the PC wasn't playable^

the port was bent a bit, i had to jiggle the usb in , but it works now.
