not meaning to double post, but I tried my hand at a b&w signature, followed a guide. I'm not THAT thrilled with the outcome, but I think my blending and flow creation is improving :p

Great for a second sig!

I dont like the 1px border or the lines going through the whole sig, they make it look a bit lq.
Try to keep all things tidy, idk know if you can say it like that, but what i mean is that dont overuse blur or sharpen tool, they are great tools to use but easily overused. Keep it looking sharp, crisp, HQ all the way trough the process. Dont apply any filters that make your sig look LQ.
A high quality signature always looks pretty good, even if other things in it aren't done that well.
and use HQ stocks and resources.

Flow is ok.
Blending is alright.
You're improving but still need tons of practice.
Nice to see you're actually listening .. I'm still with LindeRKV on this one.. this feels like a troll. Too good to be true. lol

Anyways in B&W pictures you really need to bring out lighting, contrast and depth from my knowledge.
Lighting is really important to make things pop.

Also I don't know if it's just me but I think you can work a little better on trying to bring out your focal.

Anyways if I'm "wrong" with anything I've said I'm sure someone will correct me.
Keep up the good work though. You're on the right track.

Yeah I can see that now. and I'm not a troll I promise, my brother used to post here a while back and I watched him fiddle around a lot, his name was AF_Assent. But other than that I'm completely new to this section :p I'm gonna try and work on the contrast, lighting and death too, see if I can't get that to work better.

I went back through the graphic design page because I posted a status a while back about Ebony's render and stock dump, I found them eventually and got my render from clanfaq.com or whatever, seemed high quality :p the only filters I do is usually gradient maps for some coloring, the occasional sharpen(then erase background) I followed a tutorial for this beginning to end because I'd never done a B&W signature before, felt like I wanted to give it a try :p

What i see as a mistake though, is that you have made 2(!) signatures and you already have something in your signature that refers to you as someone who could ask money for his work.

It's not that you couldn't have it there but it's more like matter of principle.

Yeah, I agree. I wouldn't want to make a crappy signature and make someone pay for it. I took that out
