i like slowly watching the life a times of flora's eraser.

on topic, i like the single tier cake layout the best, it will look better in PS obv, but I think it has more personality and character than the single line, but isn't as lengthy as the 3 tiered.

i'd try and work more on the composition of your ideas before detailing the thickness/weight. that's a lot of work to not go with it.

unless you want the end product to actually look hand drawn, then i would personally find a similar font and compose/place and warp the text to how you want it first in illustrator, print it out and then add all the intricate swirls/ligatures. you could always trace the font again to give it the hand drawn feel and work off of it as a base, so you aren't getting any skewed letters.

also, make sure you're keeping it feminine, because there's a fine line before it starts looking like a gangster tattoo.

Idea #2

I was going for a single layer cake silhouette.

this one has the most character imo so far and it's more fun, rather than gangster.

Thanks, ya I would have to work it all out in ps after this rough draft. And then it would look more smooth, it's not too much work to get it like this, but it helps me see spacing.

:) just had a thought, why not try making all the letters lower case, those stacked caps create some imbalance.
