theres 2048 pen pressure if you wanted to upgrade to intuos

i went through that psd, was very impressed
trying too freehand the brush/lighting graphics is what made my decision too get the tablet and never use a mouse for that again

Can you draw?

as far as my experience goes, everything you need for photoshop is capable of being done with a mouse
a tablet grants ease, but i don't see it as a necessary investment unless you're illustrating digitally

which brings us back to this question

Start out with Wacom Bamboo Pen, they're cheap and can do anything you'd want/need to do with it.

If, by some miracle, you go professional, then upgrade to an intuos.
