i see you're using clipping masks, trying to do lighting as well
however, you should try new tuts and styles.
also, learn as much aabout photoshop function as you can, cause the more you know, the better you can utilize it
as far as this sig goes, the typography, and the lighting aren't great, with other things too.
but its not bad for your first few sigs

Thanks for the input. I just wanted to do the tut again to try to soak in tips, so that I don't forget them. I'm going to be trying out another tutorial tomorrow for sure; I'll be sure to keep the lighting and the typography in mind.

Looks good! And yeah, JSP has some awesome tutorials, I think I'm gonna have to go back and do some again. Also it's fun to do YouTube tutorials for things unrelated to sigs, such as specific things such as 3D text/Glossy Effects/Ect. (Although JSP might have a few things like that too I'm not sure)

Keep up the good work man. GREAT for a first sig.

The most important thing is to just practice doing different things, so that you become more familiar with and can then become more creative and do your own thing, its less about learning how to replicate a tutorial over and over. So just keep practising
