Centered focal isn't good, don't do it. The background seems really random, there is no flow.
Get rid of that text straight away.
Just start over.
Also don't use black and white to try to fix problems with colour.

i think the smoke over his face should be a bit more transparent and maybe blurred a bit so it doesnt take away so much from the focal
also text is kinda meh.. doesn't really align with any elements and feels a little too small
otherwise i love the smudging / texture and lighting, and it's fairly hq i think (though i'm a notoriously bad judge of quality)
