Sadly, so is a degree in Psych
Grad school or nothin.

i disagree, many people overlook state registered veteran jobs. My sister just got a job paying 20-30 dollars an hour and all she does is talk to vets and give them their medication (As well as observes mental stress and what not)

I'm is in school gettin date book lernin.. aint for arts though

seriously though from what i've been told, a degree in art can be completely useless

I mean, any degree is almost pointless now-a-day unless you're an engineer of any classification or a doctor. I switched over to Graphic Design with a Minor in Photography and Marketing from a double major in Business/Economics and the career paths have opened up for me at least 50% from switching and it was the best decision I have ever made. Anyone can get a standard business degree it means absolutely nothing but to graduate with a bachelors in fine arts at my school you have to pass 3 reviews in which they kick you out if you don't meet the criteria or standards and at your 2nd review they weed out about 40% of your class. My last one is next semester as I have passed 2 out of the 3 :) and then I will be going to Grad school to get my MFA

Can't decide what i want to go to school for so i got my gen eds done, working on teaching licensure at the moment, but leaning toward advertisement/graphic design and taking a photoshop and drawing class next semester i am also already cnet/windows cert :P which is why i am getting into signature design on these forums ^_^

if you're leaning toward advertisement you should find a good art director program.

Depends if you get your doctrine. Otherwise yeah, its pretty useless. Best hope would be a school councilor.
But psychologists, that work independently do make good money. Its essentially a psychiatrist that doesn't provide medications.
Mind you they don't make 250k a year, average is 70-100k. Then again you only spend half the time in school.
Depends if you go for that doctor title really.
