I'm going to be totally honest here. Everything you just said sounds like something Miss America would say.
I find a toothbrush tattoo more interesting than two sleeves that resembles life and death.
Words like "Peace" and "Life" are totally insipid and dull. They lost their charm long ago. I'm sure you can find a word/words that resembles your feelings better than "Life".
"Ocean cause I love the ocean" - You're gonna say the same thing twice, once in words and once in image, which makes it dreary. It doesn't have to be super original or have a really deep meaning, just make it interesting.

It's just a starting off point, I know it sounds retarded that's why I havnt gotten anything yet lol

I agree with Uncle on this, in my opinion you should get something that means a whole great deal to you. I have a friend that's deep into his Christian faith and has a keen interest in medieval era, so he got a customized Knight Templar tattoo - that's basically showing his faith and reminds him of it.

I wouldn't get some doodles, in later life you're going to regret them probably.
