Yea, I usually Filter -> Sharpen -> Sharpen a couple of times once I'm finished. It seems to make the texture pop. The result will differ depending on the brush used.

Everything that was posted I used a reference for, which is why they look decent. As for the other stuff, it's pretty much garbage that I don't want to post.

First real attempt at painting (reference used). Acrylic on stretched canvas, 16" x 20".
