i elongated her face a little in the sketch and decided never to fix it

the right side of the bridge and the tops of the eyebrows could use a little reworking maybe, il play with it later tonight when i have time

fix the jawline and it will help immensely. what you have makes it look like she doesn't have a chin and very flat, if you just fix the angles of the cheeks a little it will help

Tried an apple from life

Not happy this one but im glad I did it, definitely exposes things I need to learn, having saturation problems I never had to think about when using traditional media. Next I'm going to try a fruit study from a photo cus its easier, then maybe try fruit from life again.

Also are there other brushes I should be using besides hard round on pen pressure opacity? Its making blending a real pain in the ass and you can see all my strokes (the apple looks alot better when I make it smaller or squint at it)

this is it as tiny so you cant see all the brush strokes that make it flatten the phuck out of it

not bad
but try to stick with big blocks of colour m8
big forms of colour blended into shapes, that instantly tells us that what we're looking at is indeed an apple, without all the details.
